Thousands of gaming enthusiasts reported problems accessing Roblox late Thursday night, prompting widespread concern across the platform’s global user base.
Outage-tracking website DownDetector confirmed that nearly 16,000 users reported service issues on December 18, 2025. Most complaints peaked around 11:30 p.m., when players struggled to access Roblox.com.
About half of the affected users reported receiving error messages when loading the website. Others reported partial access, suggesting the disruption may not have affected all services equally.
Roblox maintains an estimated daily active user base of about 83 million players, making even short outages highly noticeable across social media platforms.
