The breakthrough came in the 37th minute. Arda Guler drilled a pass into Mbappe, who turned and fired a low shot past goalkeeper Aaron Escandell. That scare ignited Madrid’s attack. Vinicius won the ball and drove forward before slipping a precise pass to Mbappe, who slotted home his second goal in the 83rd minute. The Brazilian forward then sealed the victory himself in the 93rd minute, finishing calmly after a pass from Brahim Diaz.
