The Rawalpindi Traffic Police have announced a comprehensive traffic management plan to ensure smooth movement during the Pakistan vs South Africa cricket matches scheduled at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium from October 20 to 24.

According to the department’s spokesperson, over 367 officers and personnel will be deployed on traffic duty throughout the series. The plan includes temporary road closures, alternate routes, and designated parking areas to help ease congestion.

  • Road Closures: Stadium Road closes from 9th Avenue Chowk to Double Road during matches. Murree Road shuts temporarily from Faizabad to Double Road.
  • Diversions: Islamabad-to-Rawalpindi traffic diverts to Expressway from Faizabad; Rawalpindi-to-Islamabad traffic uses Sixth Road to Saidpur. Ghousia Chowk traffic reroutes via Farooq-e-Azam and Kuri Roads.
  • Parking and Shuttles: Spectators can park at Civil Aviation Ground, Shahbaz Sharif Park, and Graduate College, with shuttle services to the stadium.

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) announced ticket prices for the white-ball series: three T20Is (Rawalpindi, October 28; Lahore, October 31; and November 1) and three ODIs (Faisalabad, November 4, 6, and 8). Rawalpindi T20I tickets range from Rs400 (General) to Rs15,000 (Platinum Box).
