Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader and former interior minister Rana Sanaullah experienced a road accident near Faisalabad.
As per initial reports, Rana Sanaullah’s car collided with a tractor-trolley on Saddhar Bypass, reportedly due to foggy conditions. The tractor-trolley was loaded with sugarcane at the time of the incident.
Fortunately, Rana Sanaullah and his family members who were with him in the vehicle remained unharmed. Following the accident, the former interior minister proceeded to Lahore to attend an important party meeting, indicating that no serious injuries were sustained during the collision.
Separate Incident Involving Dr. Fahmida Mirza
In a separate road accident on December 19, former speaker of the National Assembly, Dr. Fahmida Mirza, sustained injuries. This incident occurred in Karachi when two vehicles collided. Dr. Mirza, a leader of the Grand Democratic Alliance (GDA), was immediately shifted to a private hospital in Karachi’s Defence area for treatment.
Dr. Mirza is noted for her historic role as the first and only woman to have served as the Speaker of the National Assembly during the tenure of the Pakistan Peoples Party government.
