Bollywood dancer and actress Rakhi Sawant has humorously declined Pakistani religious scholar Mufti Abdul Qavi’s marriage proposal, suggesting he couldn’t handle her.
Rakhi, who has been in the spotlight following Mufti Qavi’s conditional marriage proposal during a podcast, responded with humour. She had previously asked Qavi to recite poetry for her.
In an interview with a private channel, Rakhi clarified, “I’m not serious about marrying Mufti Qavi. I don’t know if he has 100 or 900 wives, but I alone am worth 100,000 women, and he couldn’t handle me.”
She also shared that she’s still searching for true love, which she has yet to find in India. “Many men chase me, but they only want to use me as a stepping stone,” she said.

When asked about visiting Pakistan, Rakhi humorously remarked, “If Modi can visit Pakistan, why can’t I? When a couple agrees, what can the Qazi do?”
Rakhi also praised Pakistani actress Hania Aamir, describing her as a “good and decent girl.”
Earlier, Mufti Qavi claimed in a program that his wedding to Rakhi Sawant was set for February 14, adding that he had invited the host as a witness. He revealed that Rakhi personally chose the date for their nikkah. He also stated that after the wedding, Rakhi would adopt Islamic attire by Shariah guidelines and might even alter his clothing style.
