In Quetta, a violent encounter occurred between security forces and militants, resulting in the death of three terrorists and the martyrdom of a Pakistan Army soldier, as reported by the military’s media wing on Friday.

ISPR Statement on the Incident

On Thursday evening, a security post near Wali Tangi was targeted by militants, as per a statement from the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR). The press release conveyed that three terrorists were killed during the firefight. The statement acknowledged the bravery of Subedar Qaiser Raheem, who was martyred while fulfilling his duty with courage. Moreover, another soldier sustained severe injuries during the clash. ISPR affirmed the relentless commitment of Pakistan’s security forces to undermine the attempts of those intending to disrupt the peace and progress of the nation.
