At least four persons have been injured in a grenade attack on the Shaheed Ameer Dasti police station on Sabzal Road in Quetta injured four persons, including a woman and a young girl, according to authorities.
According to law enforcement, the bomb disposal unit was dispatched to the site of the explosion after allegations of a second grenade.
Balochistan Chief Minister Abdul Qudoos Bizenjo denounced the act and ordered the provincial police chief to improve security in the city.
Dr. Waseem Baig, the media coordinator for the Balochistan Health Department, later acknowledged in a press conference that four persons were injured in the event.
The police of Quetta said that two hand grenades were thrown onto the road, one exploded, and the other detonated.
The police have stated that they are investigating the nature of the explosion, while the injured have been sent to the Bolan Medical Complex Hospital in the city.
