“Pushpa 2: The Rule,” the much-awaited sequel to “Pushpa: The Rise,” has exceeded global box office expectations, gathering a remarkable Rs 1,760 crore in total gross earnings.

Starring Allu Arjun, alongside Rashmika Mandanna and Fahadh Faasil, the film continues its impressive run, now in its fourth week. Despite a dip in revenue on its fourth Monday, December 30, with a net collection of Rs 6.65 crore on day 26, it marked the film’s lowest daily earnings. However, the cumulative total has reached an impressive Rs 1,163.65 crore across all languages.

The blockbuster film Pushpa 2 continues to break records at the global box office, raking in an astounding ₹1163.65 crore in India and ₹1760 crore worldwide. Domestically, “Pushpa 2” has shattered records previously held by “Baahubali 2: The Conclusion.” It has set new benchmarks for Telugu cinema and has enjoyed significant success in Hindi-speaking areas, with its Hindi version earning Rs 758.65 crore—surpassing the Telugu version’s Rs 326.31 crore.

The film also performed well in other regional languages; the Tamil version earned Rs 56.95 crore, while the Malayalam and Kannada versions brought in Rs 14.12 crore and Rs 7.62 crore, respectively.

Even with competition from recent releases like “Baby John” and “Mufasa: The Lion King,” “Pushpa 2” has maintained its lead in the box office race. Its success is driven by engaging storytelling, dynamic action sequences, and excellent performances, particularly Allu Arjun’s portrayal of the lead role.

Mythri Movie Makers celebrated this milestone on social media, thanking fans for their support. The film’s global gross now positions it as a contender to surpass “Baahubali 2’s” record.

As it stands, “Pushpa 2” ranks among the highest-grossing films of 2024, affirming the strength of Indian cinema to produce content that resonates widely.
