Punjab police broke into Imran Khan’s residence located in the Zaman Park

More than 20 PTI workers were also detained due to their resistance to the police action.

A Punjab police officer claims that no one was injured despite being fired upon from the residence.

Punjab Police raided as soon Imran Khan left for Islamabad to attend a court hearing; the police began their operation to clear the area outside his home of party campers.

The police issued a statement that read, “The provisions of Section 144 are enforced. You are requested to disperse, “resulting in heated chants from PTI staff.

As a result of a deal reached between the administration and the PTI on the search at Zaman Park, a sizeable police contingent was stationed nearby.

The terms and conditions of holding rallies, the security of the PTI chairman, and other legal problems were settled by all parties and filed to the Lahore High Court (LHC).

Under the details, the PTI would collaborate with the government to execute the arrest and search warrants.

Senator Shibli Faraz and former state minister Ali Muhammad Khan are nominated by the PTI as spokesmen, while SSP Imran Kishwar will represent the police in communications. In investigations regarding conflicts that occurred on March 14 and 15, the PTI would collaborate with the police.

In addition, it has been determined that the PTI would organize a public assembly on Monday instead of Sunday, pending administration approval. In addition, the PTI will notify the administration five days before the rally.

The PTI would request security from the appropriate authorities, and the government would implement the PTI leader’s security guidelines.
