The Punjab government is considering to put Dr Tahirul Qadri’s name on exit control list (ECL). The final decision will be taken tonight.
The provincial government has also issued Rs 70 million to police to stop PTI’s long march and PAT’s revolution day.
The police have also geared up to tackle Imran Khan’s “Azadi march” and Qadri’s “revolution day”. Investigation against PAT chief over money laundering is underway while several other cases are in pipeline.
The government is considering putting Qadri’s name on ECL after he provoked the public following the registeration of an FIR against him. According to sources, Tahirul Qadri is likely to flee the country in coming days.
On the other hand, the Punjab government has issued a fund of Rs 70 million to police to foil the upcoming protest rallies of PTI and PAT.
According to sources, The Punjab IG has also directed the DPOs to stop PTI and PAT workers from coming to Lahore.
