Punjab CNG to be restored in two days

Lahore: Sixth shipment of liquefied natural gas (LNG) is expected to reach Karachi on Tuesday and CNG stations across Punjab and Islamabad are likely to reopen within next two days. According to sources, delay in payments by IPPs is major hurdle in gas restoration. IPPs owe fourteen billion rupees to Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited (SNGPL). CNG stations across Punjab remain closed since June 26.
