Chief Minister Punjab Shahbaz Sharif said earlier today that a massive crackdown against weapons in Punjab province is starting soon in order to improve the law and order situation, Samaa reported.
On his visit to Kamoke district of Gujranwala for condolence with the family of slained MPA Rana Shamshad, he said that,”deweaponisation is essential for restoring peace in the province”.
He said that the law enforcement agencies have made arrests in connection with the murder of PML-N MPA and further suspects would be rounded up soon.
Sharif condoled with the family of Rana Shamshad and termed his assassination a big loss.
