Karachi: Deputy Commissioner Central Dr. Saif Ur Rehman on Tuesday announced a public holiday for April 23 in the NA-246 constituency of Karachi where by-elections will be conducted on that day.
Use of cellular phones by voters during the electoral process has also been prohibited. Voters will not be allowed to carry cell phones inside the polling station.
Sindh Government has put a ban on pillion riding in Karachi for three days as part of security measures for the by-polls.
