Islamabad: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) is going to hold a protest today (Tuesday) against low power supply to Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

PTI’s top leadership will also participate to lead party supporters for today’s protest outside the Parliament House in Islamabad.

Officials said strict security measures have been taken to avoid any untoward situation during the protest. Sources said Islamabad’s Red Zone has been sealed in the wake of protest sit-in.

KPK’s Minister for Information, Mushtaq Ghani, held a press conference yesterday and claimed that the federal government was providing less electricity to the province?”

“KPK is supplying a fair share of electricity to all over the country, but still there is 20-hour loadshedding here which is unfair,” he said.

He said that KPK Chief Minister Pervez Khattak was constantly trying to meet Finance Minister Ishaq Dar for the last two months but could not get time to meet.
