Federal Minister for Information, Senator Pervaiz Rashid Sunday said Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Imran Khan should put the vote fraud allegations on the table of talks.

“The charges Imran Khan has been leveling against us in his speeches since we came into power have not been tabled before the government’s dialogue committee”, the minister said in a statement issued.

The ruling Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PMLN) minister said that the demands tabled during the talks pertained to the procedural work of the Election Commission of Pakistan, adding the government was not authorized to interfere in the affairs of Election Tribunals.

“If Khan is not happy with the Election Tribunals work-pace then he should put forth his suggestions on how to improve it in the Parliament”, Rashid said.

Citing the record, he said that the majority of cases got held up owing to non-cooperation by the candidates of Khan’s party.
