Imran Khan, Chairman of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), and Vice Chairman Shah Mahmood Qureshi will stay in custody for another fourteen days. A special court under the Official Secrets Act extended their judicial remand until October 10 regarding the cipher case.
The hearing presided over by Judge Abual Hasnat Zulqarnain occurred at Attock jail. Representing PTI, Barrister Salman Safdar, Latif Khosa, Umer Niazi, and Naeem Panjutha attended the court, where the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) team was also in attendance.
