After NA -122 verdict, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s (PTI) is confident that the election tribunal will give its verdict on NA-154 elections in favor.
The Election Tribunal to announce ruling on a petition regarding vote fraud in NA-154 Lodhran, a seat won by PML-N’s Siddique Baloch. His victory as MNA was challenged by rival candidate Jahangir Tareen.
Baloch won the seat by 86,177 votes in May 2013 general elections as an independent candidate followed by 75,955 votes of Tareen.

Jahangir has also accused Baloch having a fake educational degree.
While talking to media Tareen said “ By the grace of Allah PML-N’s third wicket will fall today, I hope that the tribunal will deliver a good decision in the light of all evidences of election malpractice,”
On May 21, 2014, Justice Rana Zahid Mehmood ordered the verification of ballots with thumb impressions through National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA).
In pursuance of the court order, the NADRA submitted a report to the tribunal on October 28.
The tribunal held 131 hearings of the case so far.
But, Baloch brought stay order on the ruling by Multan bench of the high court.
However, Supreme Court on June 6 upheld the ET ruling regarding the thumb imprints verification.
