After a huge showing in Sahiwal yesterday, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) is headed on Sunday for Jhelum where the preparations for today’s public gathering have almost been completed.

The PTI chose Syed Zamir Hussain Jaffery Stadium as the venue for today’s public rally. A 20-foot wide and 80-foot stage has been raised for Kaptaan and other party leaders.

There are six entrances of the venue. Of them, one gate has been reserved for the VIPs. At least 25,000 chairs have been set at the venue that admits of over 80,000 participants.

The party’s local leaders expect a turnout of nearly 100,000 people in today’s political show. Meantime, Jhelum’s citizens are raring to accord rousing welcome to Kaptaan.

Large billboards have been put in place at main roads including GT Road to publicize today’s event. Also, the city is dotted with posters and banners welcoming Imran Khan.
