Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf has announced a round table conference in Lahore on May 23.
PTI leader Asad Qaiser invites Maulana Fazlur Rahman and individuals from all walks of life to participate in the conference.
Speaking on Aaj News’s program “Rubaru,” PTI leader Asad Qaiser commented on the leaked photo of Imran Khan from the Supreme Court, stating, “You livestream other cases, but there’s an issue over one picture? That picture is trending today.”
In response to a question, Asad Qaiser said, “We have close contacts and meetings with Maulana Fazlur Rahman, and we will soon devise a strategy.”
He added, “We are organizing a conference in Lahore on May 23, inviting people from all walks of life, and we wish for Maulana Fazlur Rahman to be part of it. Latif Khosa has been given the responsibility in this regard.”
‘If You Feel Pressure, Then Don’t Become a Judge’
During the program, Pakistan Muslim League (N) leader Senator Nasir Mahmood Butt said, “When a judge has responsibility, they don’t feel pressure. If you are feeling pressure, then don’t become a judge.”
He questioned whether the judges during the tenure of Imran Khan and General Bajwa were not under pressure.
He stated, “A judge does not feel pressure, and only those who can handle pressure should become judges.”
Former President of the Supreme Court Bar, Abid Zuberi, also spoke during the program, saying, “Pressure is only applied to those who take it, and calls are made to those who act on them. Now, along with pressure, judges’ family members are being tortured, and their lives are at risk.”
In response to a question, Senator Nasir Mahmood Butt said, “If all political parties come together and agree that NAB should be abolished, then NAB will be abolished.”
