Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Pakistan (JUI-P) took a decisive step toward allying with parties sharing similar visions for the nation’s brighter future.
A PTI representative revealed that a discussion between the two sides took place, emphasizing the need for elected officials to lead Pakistan out of its current challenges after the elections. Ex-National Assembly speaker Asad Qaiser spearheaded PTI’s team. At the same time, JUI-P’s side was represented by its Amir, Maulana Muhammad Khan Sherani, accompanied by Maulana Gul Naseeb Khan and Maulana Abdul Khaliq.
In a separate note, PTI voiced its concerns over the repeated court absences of its chairman, Imran Khan. The party described the ongoing delays in hearings against the former prime minister as a deliberate tactic. The spokesperson stated that such hindrances in Imran’s court appearances were a deliberate act to thwart justice and seemed like a political vendetta. An appeal was made to Chief Justice Qazi Faez Isa to facilitate prompt hearings and unbiased judgments in all of Imran’s cases.
Furthermore, the spokesperson expressed relief over the safe return of the prominent vlogger, Imran Riaz Khan, praising Khan’s family for their enduring spirit. The party also called for every missing citizen’s prompt and safe comeback.
