Magistrate in Islamabad has ordered to send 50 PTI workers to jail on 14-day remand. The court slapped each worker with Rs 20,000 surety bond for their bail.
After the verdicts, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) activists stopped prison vans carrying arrested party workers after their appearance in the court.
PTI leader, Dr Arif Alvi claimed that one thousand PTI activists were arrested and they are being sent to Adiala Jail without being produced in the court.
Talking to media out side court Alvi said “At least 100 to 200 workers have been sent to Adiala Jail today’s morning. The government should at least follow court procedure”
