The Punjab Safe Cities Authority (PSCA) was established under the 2015 Punjab Safe Cities Ordinance. Its primary goal is to develop the Punjab Police Integrated Command, Control, and Communication (PPIC3) system to enhance public safety. This initiative utilises advanced technology, skilled personnel, and efficient processes to improve urban security and overall quality of life. A state-of-the-art PPIC3 Centre operates in Lahore, with plans for expansion to other major cities in Punjab.
The job openings support PSCA’s mission to modernise policing through initiatives like virtual safety programs and emergency systems. By recruiting skilled professionals, PSCA aims to strengthen community safety and infrastructure, aligning with Punjab’s urban development goals. The expansion of PPIC3 centres could set a model for nationwide public safety improvements
