Mufti Abdul Qawi will also be investigated in the Qandeel Baloch murder case.
According to CPO Azhar Akram. Mufti Abdul Qawi and Qandeel’s other brother Aslam will also be included in her murder investigation.
CPO Multan Azhar Akram said that police were waiting for Qandeel’s forensic report and subsequently the scope of the murder will be extend to other suspects as well.
Mufti Abdul Qawi and Qandeel Baloch’s selfies and a video had surfaced online in which the both of them could be seen together.
Qandeel’s mother also alleged that Mufti Abdul Qawi provoked waseem for murdered his sister.
Qandeel’s brother Waseem, who had murdered her, claimed that he had done so after her selfies and video with Qandeel had surfaced.
Qandeel was laid to rest on Sunday at Dera Ghazi Khan after her funeral prayers had been offered. Mufti Abdul Qawi had reacted to Qandeel Baloch’s death by stating that it should serve as a warning for those who wanted to humiliate clerics.
