Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Senator Irfan Siddiqui passed away in Islamabad on Monday after a two-week illness. The veteran politician had been receiving treatment at a private hospital where his condition deteriorated before his demise.

The senator maintained an active role in multiple parliamentary committees during his service. He contributed to committees on Business Advisory, Human Rights, Information and Broadcasting, and Interior and Narcotics Control.
