Since its election to power in May 2013, Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) has performed 59 percent better than Pakistan People’s Party during the same period in the last regime, a Gallup survey published Saturday said.

Gallup Survey Report 2014 claims around 55 percent of the public is satisfied with the to-date  performance of the PML-N government.

Another Gallup survey says Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif is the most popular political leader of the country, whereas his brother Mian Shahbaz Sharif’s performance as chief minister of Punjab is comparatively better than his other three ‘opposite numbers’.

On the other hand, popularity of political leaders such as Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s Imran Khan, PPP’s Asif Ali Zardari, Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazal’s Maulana Fazlur Rehman is decreasing day by day.
