Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif initiated and laid the foundation for numerous development projects in Islamabad and Rawalpindi on Wednesday.
Prime Minister Shehbaz inaugurated the Seventh Avenue overhead bridge on the Srinagar Highway, a project completed within a year.
The bridge features four loops, spans 615 meters, and connects Sector G-7 and G-6, enhancing the Srinagar Highway’s aesthetics. Sharif later attended the opening of the renovated IJP Road and the groundbreaking for 11th Avenue, receiving a comprehensive briefing on these projects.
Two days prior, Sharif opened the Sabzazar Sports Complex in Lahore, the first of 14 sports facilities planned during his term as Punjab Chief Minister. Sabzazar residents will enjoy free access to the complex, and exceptional students will receive free memberships.
Sharif toured the sports complex, engaging with young athletes and school children. Mohsin Naqavi, the Caretaker Punjab Chief Minister, also attended the event.
