Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif called a meeting of Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) parliamentary leaders.
The meeting would cover the country’s broader political scenario, Imran Khan’s Azadi March, and various challenges.
It is also anticipated that PM will also discuss the appointment of the next Chief of Army Staff (COAS), General Qamar Javed Bajwa will retire on November 29.
Prime Minister summoned the meeting a day after the former president and PPP Co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari at PM House.
The statement stated both presidents discussed “the country’s political condition.”
Zardari asked about the prime minister’s health after he tested positive for coronavirus on November 15.
