Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif Saturday conveyed his heartfelt felicitations to US President Barack Obama and American nation on their independence day commemorated on July 4.
In a letter to the United States President, Sharif said, “Our two nations are bound by ideals of freedom, democracy and human rights.”
“We are committed to consolidating this relationship into a broad and enduring partnership,” he said according to a PM House statement.
He assured that Pakistan would continue to adhere to further strengthening bilateral beneficial relations and enhanced cooperation to the benefit of the two peoples.
He wished the people of the United States of America, continued progress and prosperity.
Nawaz Sharif said that Pakistan valued the confidence and understanding that existed at the leadership level between the two countries. (APP)
