Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif on Thursday visited the Air Headquarters in Islamabad and met Air Chief Marshal Tahir Rafique Butt.
On his arrival, the PM was briefed on operational capacities of Pakistan Air Force and its role in the ongoing operation ‘Zarb-e-Azb’ against militants in North Waziristan.
Both the dignitaries discussed matters related to mutual interest and external security.
PM Sharif assured full support for development plans of Pakistan Air Force, to be executed in future.
The PM praised the lead role played by the air force during Zarb-e-Azb. He expressed satisfaction over completion of up gradation programs and induction of new equipment in the PAF.
