Prime Minister Mian Nawaz Sharif earlier today launched the PM’s National Health Programme aimed at providing free of cost healthcare to the poorest of the poor for Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK).
The health scheme to be launched initially in Muzaffarabad and Kotli would benefit 82,362 and 79,004 families, respectively.
Speaking on the occasion, Nawaz Sharif said the government is determined to provide free of cost treatment to the poor patients.
The Premier went on to say that National Health Scheme is part of the manifesto of Pakistan Muslim League and every effort will be made to provide free health cover to the needy people.
He said that the government is developing infrastructure, trying to overcome shortage energy and working hard to eliminate terrorism from the country.
