PlayStation Plus Extra and Deluxe/Premium members look forward to an exciting addition starting November 21st: “Dragon’s Dogma: Dark Arisen.” The dark fantasy adventure game puts players in the shoes of the Arisen, a warrior marked to face a mythical dragon.

The gameplay, reminiscent of the Dark Souls series, features a mix of magic, mythical creatures like gryphons and hydras, and AI companions for battle assistance. This thrilling adventure will be available on PS4.

Joining the PlayStation Plus catalogue as a day-one release is “Teardown,” a game where players navigate a world of odd jobs and elaborate heists. Available on PS5, this game challenges players to creatively demolish structures and plan the perfect theft, all while avoiding getting caught.

Diverse Gaming Experiences for PlayStation Plus Members

Fans of the “Dead Island” series can now play its sequel, “Riptide.” This game continues the zombie saga with the same four protagonists fighting off undead enemies. Available on PS4, it includes options for online co-op gameplay, adding to the excitement.

Puzzle enthusiasts can dive into “Superliminal,” a surreal game with optical illusions and perspective changes. For those interested in action, “Mobile Suit Gundam: Extreme vs. Maxi Boost On” offers mech battles in a 2v2 online format.

Concerns Over PS Plus Subscription Value

The recent updates have not featured many popular releases, leading to concerns among PlayStation fans about the value of their PS Plus subscription. This is particularly poignant given Sony’s price increase for 12-month plans earlier in the year. Although Sony introduced 4K cloud streaming in October, it remains limited to PS Plus Premium members in selected regions.

Some fans have cancelled their PS Plus subscriptions in light of these concerns. However, PlayStation is offering a 30 per cent discount on new 12-month PS Plus memberships as part of their Black Friday sale, potentially offsetting some of these concerns.

Complete List of Free Games and Classics Catalog for November

Starting November 21st, the complete list of free games for PS Plus Extra and Deluxe/Premium members includes:

Dragon’s Dogma: Dark Arisen (PS4), Teardown (PS5) — Now Available, Dead Island: Riptide Definitive Edition (PS4), Superliminal (PS4, PS5), Eiyuden Chronicle: Rising (PS4, PS5), Nobunaga’s Ambition: Taishi (PS4), Alternate Jake Hunter: Daedalus The Awakening of Golden Jazz (PS4), Mobile Suit Gundam: Extreme vs. Maxi Boost On (PS4), River City Melee Mach!! (PS4)

The PS Plus Classics catalogue for November, exclusive to Deluxe/Premium members, features titles like Grandia, Jet Moto, Up, Klonoa Phantasy Reverie Series, and PaRappa the Rapper 2.

The PlayStation Blog details these offerings exclusively to PS Plus Extra and Deluxe members. Last month’s catalogue included games like Gotham Knights, Disco Elysium, and Alien Isolation.
