The Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) CEO Bernd Hildenbrand’s name has been put on the Exit Control List (ECL).
According to sources, Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has issued a notification to place the name of PIA’s German CEO in ECL.
Deputy Director Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) Admin Lahore, Khawaja Hammadur Rehman signed notification has been posted on all the major airports.
Following puting name in ECL Hildenbrand will not be allowed to depart from the country.
Sources said an inquiry against Bernd Hildenbrand is underway for purchasing aircrafts at exorbitant prices from a Sri Lankan airline.
It is alleged that PIA lost millions of dollars as a result of aforementioned deal.
