Canadian authorities detained a Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) air hostess, Hina Sani, for possessing multiple passports.
Hina Sani, a PIA steward on flight PK-789 to Toronto, faced arrest after immigration officials discovered several passports in her luggage, each belonging to a different individual.
Reports also indicate that seven other crew members were aboard PK 789 with her, all prohibited by the airline from flying to Toronto.
These crew members reportedly secured special authorization from the deputy general manager (DGM) of Flight Services via his ID.
In a related incident, PIA incurred a substantial fine when an air hostess entered Canada sans passport.
According to sources from sources, this air hostess was on duty for flight PK-781 from Islamabad to Toronto during the notable event.
