Four people were killed and at least five other injured in an explosion in Peshawar’s local football stadium a short while ago.
According to initial reports, the blast took place in a football stadium located on Dalazak Road. The explosion partially damaged a nearby mosque.
Nature of the blast could not be confirmed as Bomb Disposal Squad members (BDS) were busy collecting evidence from the blood soaked site littered with human body parts.
Police said target of the blast is still not clear.
The stadium is located in the main Peshawar city close to Parda Bagh, Shahi Bagh, Fruit Market and a government-run college.
