Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has appointed former leg-spinner Mushtaq Ahmed as the new spin bowling consultant for national cricket team, Mushtaq, who recently coached England has signed the contract with PCB on Monday and took the charge on immediate basis.
Mushtaq Ahmed was in competition with Saqlain Mushtaq for the role but the coach selection committee, comprising Moin Khan, Intikhab Alam and Haroon Rashid recommended Mushtaq Ahmed.
