Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has announced t 25 per cent increase in the monthly retainers of centrally contracted players. However the names of the players will be finalized after the conclusion of the ongoing camp at the National Cricket Academy in Lahore.
PCB sources said that the revised salaries come into effect from January 1, 2014. This is in addition to hikes of 25 per cent in Test match fee and 10 per cent for ODIs.
Besides, the system of bonuses has also been revised to incentivize outstanding individual performances and series wins.
