Parliamentary leaders meeting on current situation at Line of Control (LoC) began in Islamabad.
Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif will brief the Parliamentary leaders about the current situation at LoC and in the Indian Held Kashmir so that national consensus could be evolved in this regard.
Before the meeting, PM Sharif had a detailed discussion with Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leadership including Ishaq Dar, Sartaj Aziz and Khawaja Asif to map out strategy for the core meeting.
Advisor on National Security Nasser Khan Janjua was also present in the meeting.
Flanked by other party leaders, PM Sharif received the participants of the meeting at PM Secretariat.
Leaders of all parliamentary parties in the National Assembly, except Sheikh Rashid of Awami Muslim League, have been invited to attend this vital meeting.
Chairman Pakistan People’s Party Bilawal Bhutto Zardari is heading a delegation of his party and Shah Mehmood Qureshi is leading the PTI men.
Shah Mehmood Qureshi from Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), Ghulam Ahmad Bilour of Awami National Party (ANP), Farooq Sattar and Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui of Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan (MQM-Pakistan), Siraj-ul-Haq and Sahibzada Tariq Ullah of Jamaat-e-Islami, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, Khursheed Shah, Naveed Qamar and Sherry Rehman of Pakistan People’s Party, Kamil Ali Agha of Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid (PML-Q) and other leaders will attend today’s meeting.
