The leader of the opposition in the National Assembly, Syed Khursheed Shah has asserted that only parliament can resolve all the issues of the country.

Speaking in the National Assembly after ending the boycott, Khursheed Shah said, “Parliament can resolve all the issues which can not be resolved through sit-ins.”

He said, “The matter of Panama Papers has not ended after the speech of the prime minister but has begun now.”

Khursheed Shah also urged Speaker National Assembly Ayaz Sadiq to summon the Prime Minister in the parliament.

The joint opposition boycotted the National Assembly as PM Nawaz was not visiting the lower house of the parliament, Shah said.

The issue of offshore companies is not raised by the opposition but by the Panama Papers, he said and added that instead of the Premier, his sons should come forward to answer over Panama Papers allegations.

The session of the National Assembly in underway today.

PTI Chairman Imran Khan has also arrived in the NA.
