A Pakistani driver killed in a debris incident in Dubai was reported after “debris from an aerial interception” fell onto a vehicle in Dubai’s Al Barsha area late Saturday night, according to the Dubai Media Office.
The report describes this as the second instance of a Pakistani national dying in the United Arab Emirates during the ongoing war involving Iran, the United States and Israel.

The Dubai Media Office said debris fell after an aerial interception, but the statement did not specify which projectile had been intercepted or where it was fired from.
The report says the conflict has expanded across the region, with Iran targeting US assets and bases in Gulf countries while Israel carries out attacks in Lebanon.
The report notes that on February 28, the day the war began, according to the text, the UAE defence ministry reported the death of a person after debris fell following the interception of missiles targeting sites in Abu Dhabi.
Pakistan Embassy and authorities later confirmed the victim was a Pakistani national identified as Mureed Zaman, a resident of Bannu district in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, who had been working in Abu Dhabi for nearly eight years and supporting his family back home.

According to the report, the UAE conveyed condolences and sympathy to the victim’s family and expressed solidarity with them.
A foreign ministry statement cited in the text stressed that the targeting of civilians and civilian objects is condemned and prohibited under international law and humanitarian principles.
