A Pakistani civilian died and eight others including a minor girl were wounded in unprovoked firing and shelling by Indian Border Security (BSF) near Sialkot.

Indian BSF opened fire in Charwa, Chapra and Sajeet Garh sectors of Sialkot.Chenab Rangers responded befittingly and silenced the guns of the Indian forces.
