A fresh weather system has entered Pakistan, bringing rain and snowfall to several regions, according to the Pakistan Meteorological Department.
Authorities reported rainfall in Quetta, Chaman, Qila Abdullah, and Pishin. Snowfall has begun in higher elevations, including Khojak Top, Sheela Bagh, and Loi Band.
Forecast for Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa
The Met Office expects rain across Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa from today through February 3. Snowfall is likely in Murree and the Galyat. Rain and snow may also affect Chitral, Dir, Kohistan, Swat, and Kalam.

In Islamabad and nearby areas, conditions will remain cold with partly cloudy skies. Light rain may occur in Ziarat, Chaghi, and Gwadar, while upper regions could see light snowfall.
Light rain and snowfall are also possible in parts of Gilgit-Baltistan. Rain is expected to begin today in Abbottabad and the surrounding areas.
