Pakistan successfully test fired Thursday nuclear-capable Shaheen-II ballistic missile.
“Shaheen-II missiles are capable of carrying nuclear and conventional warheads to a range of 1,500 kilometres,” according to an ISPR statement.
Shaheen-II ballistic missile has been developed by NESCOM’s National Defence Complex of Pakistan.
Pakistan has done a tremendous job in making its defense robust. The evolving strategic environment of South Asia and Indian offensive posture has created serious threats for the sovereignty of Pakistan. In such a hostile scenario, Pakistan nuclear missile test shows its commitment to national defense.
