The Pakistan Navy, collaborating with law enforcement agencies, confiscated liquor valued at Rs145.6 million in the North Arabian Sea during a joint intelligence-based operation.
A joint operation by the Joint Maritime Information and Coordination Centre involved the Pakistan Navy, Pakistan Maritime Security Agency, and Pakistan Customs Intelligences recovered 4,104 bottles of liquor.
Following the seizure, a Navy spokesperson said the confiscated liquor was handed over to Customs for further legal action.
The Pakistan Navy, Maritime Security Agency, and Customs are vigilant in thwarting unlawful activities in Pakistani waters and territory.
The spokesperson further noted that this successful operation underscores the unified commitment to counteracting criminal efforts that aim to tarnish Pakistan’s reputation.
