The Pakistan Navy has reaffirmed its war-fighting capability and combat readiness by successfully conducting live-fire exercises in the North Arabian Sea, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said on Sunday.
During the exercise, a Pakistan Navy fleet unit engaged highly manoeuvrable aerial targets using the FM-90(N) Extended Range Surface-to-Air Missile, demonstrating precision targeting and operational effectiveness.
Commander Pakistan Fleet, Rear Admiral Abdul Munib, witnessed the live firing at sea while onboard a Pakistan Navy Fleet unit. He closely observed the engagement and assessed the crew’s performance during the exercise.

Rear Admiral Munib praised the officers and sailors for their professionalism, dedication, and high level of operational competence. He noted that such exercises play a critical role in maintaining readiness against evolving maritime and aerial threats.
Reaffirming the service’s mission, the commander stressed the Pakistan Navy’s unwavering resolve to ensure the seaward defence of Pakistan and protect national maritime interests under all circumstances.
According to ISPR, the successful live firing reflects the Navy’s continued focus on combat preparedness, modern warfare capability, and deterrence stability in the regional maritime environment.
