Tech Destination Pakistan, represented by the Pakistan Software Export Board, has been honoured as the ‘Tech Destination of the Year’ for the 2024 GITEX Global event.

GITEX Global, a major annual technology exhibition in Dubai, UAE, celebrates its 44th edition this year. The event occurs at the Dubai World Trade Centre and Dubai Harbour, encompassing over 40 halls that spotlight advancements in artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, mobility, and sustainable technology.

This global platform attracts leading tech companies, startups, investors, and industry experts to present their innovations, discuss emerging trends, and foster collaborative efforts.

With IT/ITeS companies serving 170 countries, Pakistan presents an attractive value proposition by offering services at operational costs up to 70% lower than those in North America.

Commenting on the achievement, Shaza Fatima Khawaja, Minister of State for IT & Telecommunication, expressed enthusiasm about the recognition: “This award underscores our dedication to innovation, technology, and global cooperation. We are eager to demonstrate Pakistan’s tech talent’s exceptional capabilities and potential at this renowned event.”
