Pakistan’s Chief of Army Staff, General Asim Munir, warned India of an “immediate, resolute, and high-level” response to any military adventurism during a visit to the Tilla Field Firing Ranges, where he observed Exercise Hammer Strike.
The large-scale drill, conducted by the Mangla-based Strike Corps, tested operational readiness through multi-domain operations, including long-range artillery, combat helicopters, air support, and advanced engineering, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) reported.
COAS Munir praised the troops’ morale and tactical skills, emphasising the Pakistan Army’s modernisation and combat superiority.

The remarks come amid heightened tensions following the April 22, 2025, Pahalgam attack in Indian-administered Kashmir, which killed 26 tourists.
