Pakistan Dominates Bangladesh in Junior Asia Cup Hockey 2024

On Thursday, Pakistan continued their strong performance in the 2024 Junior Asia Cup Hockey, securing a commanding 6-0 win against Bangladesh in their second group match in Muscat, Oman.

Following a 7-2 victory over China, this win marks Pakistan’s second in a row in the tournament.

Sufyan Khan shone brightly, scoring three goals. He first scored in the 23rd minute with a penalty corner to put Pakistan ahead.

Shortly after that, Mohammad Ammad widened the gap to 2-0 with a field goal.

Sufyan added two more goals in the 32nd and 43rd minutes, completing his hat-trick and boosting Pakistan’s lead. Rana Waleed scored in the 51st minute, and Zakiya Hayat rounded off the tally with a goal in the match’s final minute.

Mohammad Ammad earned the Player of the Match title for his significant contributions.

Pakistan’s next encounter will be against Oman on November 30 in their third group-stage game.
