Pakistan’s Prime Minister’s Youth Programme (PMYP) has launched a Specialized Digital Skills Training of Trainers Programme at the National Vocational and Technical Training Commission (NAVTTC) headquarters in Islamabad.
PMYP Chairman Rana Mashhood announced that 200 trainers will receive online instruction in cutting-edge fields like artificial intelligence, e-commerce, digital marketing, and data analytics during the first phase.
“This program aligns with the Prime Minister’s Digital Pakistan Vision by equipping youth with skills that are competitive on a global scale,” Mashhood stated. In partnership with NAVTTC, Uni Services International, and ITMC China, the initiative will provide joint certifications from leading institutions in both Pakistan and China. The ‘Practice of Skills’ platform will offer free digital learning accounts to youth and freelancers, enhancing digital literacy across the country.
