Pakistan cyber counter-offensive operations reportedly escalated overnight after several major domestic news channels were compromised in what analysts described as a coordinated intrusion.
Security observers characterised the breaches as structured and synchronised, suggesting a state-level digital operation rather than isolated hacking attempts. Live transmissions on three major Pakistani channels were interrupted, with messaging displayed during prime viewing hours.
The reported counter-action came roughly 24 hours after the media disruptions. According to emerging claims, operatives targeted an Indian television broadcaster and disrupted Israeli government-linked websites.
One of the most visible incidents involved ABP News. Its broadcast was briefly interrupted, and a message appeared on screen while related content was aired. The broadcaster’s YouTube channel, which has millions of subscribers, was also temporarily compromised before access was restored.
Analysts say the developments indicate a widening digital confrontation linked to escalating regional tensions following US-Israel strikes on Iran.

Experts warn that cyber operations are increasingly being used alongside traditional military and diplomatic actions. Website disruptions, broadcast interference, and online messaging campaigns can rapidly influence public perception.
Although claims surfaced about access to sensitive databases linked to Mossad, no conclusive forensic evidence has been publicly released. Authorities have not issued detailed technical findings so far.
Cybersecurity specialists continue to monitor activity linked to the incident. They caution that digital retaliation, even if brief, can heighten instability during already tense geopolitical periods.
While the full scope remains under investigation, the episode underscores how modern conflicts now extend beyond physical borders into cyberspace.
