Ambassador of Saudi Arabia to Pakistan, Nawaf bin Saeed Ahmed Al Maliki, announced that the Pakistan cricket team will be royal guests on Hajj next year if they win the ICC T20 World Cup 2024.
In a video message, the Saudi diplomat extended his best wishes to the Men in Green for the tournament. He expressed confidence in their success and anticipated nationwide celebrations if they won.
He also prayed for Pakistan’s prosperity and development. He reiterated that the team would be honoured as royal guests during Hajj if they clinch the ICC T20 World Cup 2024.
The Pakistan team will play their first T20 World Cup 2024 match on Thursday against the US.
Pakistan’s captain, Babar Azam, was a special guest in the 52nd edition of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) podcast.
During the podcast, Babar discussed the significance of the match between India and Pakistan, noting its global importance and dedicated fan base.
Babar emphasized the need for his team to perform well against India. He urged them to play confidently, focus on their skills, and stay calm under pressure.
